Welcome to Bicycle Evaluator ("Website", "we", "our", or "us"). We provide AI-generated bicycle pricing and valuation reports based on user-submitted data. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services
We offer two types of reports:
- • Free Estimate: The typical asking price for your bike's condition in your country, the price range, and how many listings it is based on.
- • Full Market Report: For a fee, you receive the listings behind the figures, what bikes in each condition are listed for, the price of the same bike new today and, where a source confirms it, its original retail price, a summary and listing text written by AI from our figures, and a downloadable PDF. Where too little data exists for a section, the report says so rather than estimating.
3. How Reports Are Produced
Valuations are calculated automatically from the asking prices of listings for sale in your country when they are checked. Asking prices can differ from final sale prices. Original retail prices come from an AI-assisted web search and are shown only with their source; summaries and listing text are written by AI from our figures. We do not guarantee accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. You should not rely solely on the report for financial decisions.

The valuation reports provided through this Website are for informational purposes only.
These reports do not constitute professional valuation services and should not be used for:
- Insurance claims
- Warranty assessments
- Legal proceedings
- Any official or certified appraisal purposes
We do not accept liability for any decisions made or not made based on the report content. You use the service and its outputs at your own risk.
4. Data Storage and Privacy
To provide our service and prevent abuse, we store minimal data:
- IP address (for rate limiting)
- Hashed GPS coordinates (privacy-preserving location data)
- Request timestamp
- Basic bicycle information (brand, model, year)
- Valuation type (basic/premium)
- For premium reports, a record of the purchase (see our Privacy Policy)
Rate limiting data is automatically deleted after 30 days, and payment records after 180 days. The public listing data behind a valuation is kept for 7 days and is not linked to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. User Responsibilities
- • You agree to enter accurate and complete bicycle details (make, model, year).
- • You acknowledge that incorrect or incomplete information may affect the accuracy of the valuation report.
- • You agree not to use the service for unlawful or abusive purposes.
6. Payments and Refunds
Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store or access your card or bank details.
- • Digital Content Cancellation Rights: By purchasing a report, you agree that the digital report will be delivered immediately and that you waive your statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- • Refund Policy: All purchases are final and non-refundable once the report is delivered. If you do not receive the report or encounter a technical failure, please contact us within 7 days and we will investigate and, if appropriate, issue a replacement or refund.
Prices shown on our website may be inclusive or exclusive of tax, depending on your location. Any applicable taxes (such as VAT, GST, or local sales taxes) are automatically calculated and applied at checkout based on your location and applicable tax laws.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including AI-generated reports, text, branding, and graphics, are the property of TurnComms LTD or its licensors. Reports are provided for personal use only and may not be resold or reproduced.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for losses, damages, or costs arising from your use of the Website or reports, including decisions made based on report content. The service is provided "as is" and "as available".
9. Hosting, Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution
Our Website is hosted in, and operated from, the United Kingdom. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
If you experience a technical issue or believe that a paid report was not delivered or generated properly, you must:
- Notify us within 7 days of purchase,
- Provide a description of the issue, and
- Submit image evidence (e.g. screenshots of errors or blank outputs) to support your claim.
We will review the issue in good faith and, if verified, may offer a replacement report or a refund at our discretion. Failure to provide sufficient proof may result in the claim being denied.
Please note: Some reports may not display an MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) or may include limited market data when such information is unavailable or inconsistent across sources. This is not considered a report failure, but a reflection of current market limitations.
If you are purchasing from outside the UK, you acknowledge and agree that:
- These Terms and our services are primarily governed by UK laws and regulations, including rules for digital content.
- We make reasonable efforts to comply with local tax, consumer, and e-commerce laws in the countries where we operate.
- Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under local consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms overrides those rights where they cannot legally be excluded.
10. Prohibited Uses and Reverse Engineering
You agree not to:
- • Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or resell any part of the Website or its content;
- • Access, use, or monitor the Website or any of its content using automated means (e.g., bots, scrapers, crawlers) without prior written permission;
- • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying systems of any part of the Website or services, including the AI report generation functionality;
- • Use the service or its outputs to create competing products or services, or for the purpose of training machine learning models.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who breach this clause and to take legal action where necessary.
